Hello! I’m Holly Bryant-Simpson, public relations & marketing specialist, cat person, feminist, and bookworm living in Christchurch, New Zealand.
I am experienced in the worlds of publishing, media, entertainment, not-for-profit, education, and agency public relations as well as digital marketing.
In 2014, I earned an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, specializing in Public Relations, from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. My thesis, titled Students of Public Relations: Motivations and Career Aspirations used data from the Annual Surveys of Journalism & Mass Communication and was included in the presentation of the 2014 Annual Surveys at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication in Montreal, Canada.
My public relations and research interests include social media, pop culture, fandom/fan studies, stewardship, corporate social responsibility, diversity, and not-for-profit public relations. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring, reading, sewing and crafting, cooking, drinking coffee, and spending time with the people and cats I love.
